Dive sites

To many it is unknown that Lanzarote is mentioned to have some of the most beautiful dive sites of the northern half of the hemisphere: an unforgettable experience. Having four seasons underwater in contradiction to two seasons above water Lanzarote offers an enormous variety of fish (over 500 different species) next to corals, caverns, caves, overhangs, lava flows and wrecks. Dives are made directly from the shore and by boat on Lanzarote. To get an impression of the adventure under water that you can experience with diving on Lanzarote have a look into the descriptions of the individual dive sites.

Lanzarote

Lanzarote is mainly known for its moonlike landscapes, lava flows, colorful mountains, golden beaches and idyllic little villages in the countryside. Lanzarote, one of the seven Canary Island is only four hours away from the north of Europe (i.e. the UK, Germany and the Netherlands). Lanzarote is a typical canarian island with the advantages of the African climate, the European standard of living and the Spanish practice. The sub-tropical climate has twenty-five degrees Celsius mostly all year round and an average of 9 hours of sun per day. Water temperatures are between 18 and 25 degrees Celsius. A perfect climate for your dream dive holiday! The celebrated architect and artist César Manrique still has a major influence on the islands architecture and construction policy. César Manrique did not want Lanzarote to become as the typical tourist resorts in Spain. He has managed by law that no high buildings can be built and as a result Lanzarote has kept an idyllic atmosphere.
